Embark on a journey through the blast zone of Mount St. Helens! In his talk, Eric Wagner explores the surprising ways plants and animals survived the eruption as well as the complex roles that people have played, all while showing how fascinating Mount St. Helens still is 40 years after the blast.

Veteran broadcaster Ross Reynolds will explore the impact that audio transmission has had on society and storytelling, beginning with the first century of radio up to the modern age of audiobooks, internet streaming, podcasts, and smart speakers.

Historic Ellensburg Pub Crawl Tour Guide
The Kittitas County Historical Museum is in need of passionate and friendly history-lovers to volunteer as tour guides for our Historic Ellensburg Pub Crawl! If you’re interested in volunteering as a guide for this fun event, contact us by clicking below and filling out the short form.our building, we will soon be submitting an application for the Heritage Capital Projects Fund Grant through the Washington State Historical Society. This grant could help us execute repairs, upgrades, and improvements to our historic building.
