Rules & Regulations

(AKA, How to Have the Best Time Attending the Ellensburg Historic Pub Crawl)

The Ellensburg Historic Pub Crawl event is held three (3) times a year and sells out FAST – so registering early is highly encouraged and recommended.

There are only 40 tickets available. Cost is $60 per person. Must be 21-or-older to attend.

The event starts at the Kittitas County Historical Museum (KCHM) where attendees will meet four (4) local historians and be set into your group of ten (10) persons. Your individual historian will then lead your group through Downtown Ellensburg and into four (4) different downtown establishments, where, at each, you will enjoy a bite to eat and an alcoholic libation to drink. While indulging on the paired treat your establishment has provided, you will hear tales from your historian of side splitting stories and juicy tidbits that our pioneers probably didn’t want you to hear! Groups will return to the KCHM at the end of the evening, where a locally-made dessert treat and another alcoholic libation – and survey await our attendees.

Those attending the Ellensburg Historic Pub Crawl should arrive at the Kittitas County Historical Museum by 5:00 p.m. in order to be checked in and sorted into their group. The event begins promptly at 5:10 p.m. Groups will depart from the Museum at 5:30 p.m. This event involves some walking and standing outdoors (rain or shine), so please plan and dress accordingly. Each location event is a timed stop, and the event itself will end around 8:00 p.m.

We do our best to coordinate gluten-free and vegetarian options at some of the downtown establishments. The food and drink provided by the local establishments is determined ahead of time, and special accommodations cannot be made on the night of the event. Since this is an alcohol-related event, there may not be any non-alcoholic alternatives available at each establishment except for water; please ask your historian and/or timekeeper. Extra food and/or drink is not permitted to be ordered during the event.

*** Groups are limited to 10 persons per group and are arranged before the event. If you are planning to attend with other individuals who are buying their own tickets, please let us know their names so that we can put everyone in the same group! We are unable to make changes to groups on the night of the event.***

Those wishing to cancel their registrations must contact the Museum at least 48-hours in advance of the event to be considered for a refund. Those who do not call or show for the event or contact Museum staff within 48-hours of the event are not eligible to receive a refund of their event registration fees. Those who repeatedly no call/no show or do not contact in adequate time to cancel their registration may impact their ability to register for future Museum events.

Special thanks go to our sponsor – Ellensburg Downtown Association! Their mission is to empower and preserve community by amplifying our economy and creating a sense of place for all.

Proceeds from the Ellensburg Historic Pub Crawl benefit the Kittitas County Historical Museum. The mission of the Kittitas County Historical Museum is to collect, preserve, and share the history, heritage, and culture of Kittitas County.
