The Kittitas County Historical Museum (KCHM) is excited to announce the Spring Ellensburg Historic Pub Crawl event!

Join us on May 16th from 5pm to 8pm, as we share Ellensburgโ€™s interesting, colorful, and often mysterious past in a fun and entertaining way. With a night full of saloons and salacious stories, this event is great for both those new to Ellensburg and long-time residents. The Ellensburg Historic Pub Crawl makes a memorable date night, team building event, or a night on the town.

  • The event starts at the KCHM where you will meet local historians who will take you through four (4) of Ellensburgโ€™s downtown establishments, with each featuring a bite to eat and a libation (๐’‚๐’๐’„๐’๐’‰๐’๐’ ๐’…๐’“๐’Š๐’๐’Œ) to drink, lively narratives, side splitting stories, and juicy tidbits that our pioneers didnโ€™t want you to hear! The event will conclude back at the KCHM with a shot of delicious alcohol crafted by a local distillery. It will be paired with a specially-made treat crafted by one of our local bakers and/or chocolatiers just for the evening’s event.
  • The event kicks off at the KCHM at 5:00pm. The Pub Crawl will end at the KCHM around 8:00 p.m. This event involves some walking and standing outdoors, so please plan and dress accordingly.
  • This event will sell out early with ๐จ๐ง๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽ ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ค๐ž๐ญ๐ฌ available. Cost is $60 per person. Must be 21-or-older to attend.
  • We do our best to offer gluten-free and vegetarian options. The food provided by local restaurants is determined ahead of time by each location, and special accommodations cannot be made.

*** If you plan to attend with another group, please let us know their names so we can do our best to keep you in the same group. Groups are limited to 10 per group and are arranged before the event. There will be no changes to groups on the day of the event. ***

Hotel Windrow

The Hotel Windrow display is an annual display that features a special theme selected by Museum and hotel staff. Currently, the exhibit theme is Historic Ellensburg Hotels.

Antique Automobiles

The Museum is home to a very unique collection of antique automobiles. This display showcases six automobiles ranging from an 1899 Mobile Steam Runabout Dos-a-Dos to a 1923 Ford Model T Speedster.

Come see unique pieces of local soda bottling equipment, a wide variety of pioneer medicines, and tales of moonshining, bootlegging, and disasters that unfolded afterward.
