Permanent Exhibit
The Museum is home to a very unique collection of antique automobiles. This display showcases six automobiles ranging from an 1899 Mobile Steam Runabout Dos-a-Dos to a 1923 Ford Model T Speedster.

Julia Stringfellow, Professor and University Archivist at Central Washington University, will share her research from a Sabbatical she took in 2023 that focused on Ellensburg and Central Washington University impactful women and their contributions. Women discussed in this lecture include the “mother of Ellensburg,” the wife of the first Ellensburg mayor, the first African American female minister of Ellensburg, and the namesake of Hebler Hall at CWU that promoted active education and learning of children in Ellensburg and Nationwide.

Over 50 samples of Ellensburg Blue Agate are featured in the ongoing Rock and Mineral display, which is the largest collection held by a museum.
