Our Official Mission Statement

To collect and preserve materials, which may help establish, illustrate, and educate about the history, heritage, and culture of Kittitas County. To provide accessibility to all who wish to examine or study it, as well as to disseminate historical information and arouse interest in Kittitas County history through exhibit and interpretation.

The Bylaws of the Kittitas County Historical Society, Inc. are available to anyone interested in the organization. The last update to the Bylaws was made in August 2022, and it was approved by a vote of the organization membership.

The Kittitas County Historical Society Inc., and its Museum

The Kittitas County Historical Society, Inc. is the membership of the organization which is overseen by the Board of Directors who are elected on an annual basis. 

The Kittitas County Historical Museum is an operational doing-business-as (DBA) component of the Kittitas County Historical Society, Inc.

We encourage you to learn more about the Kittitas County Historical Society, Inc. and to get involved. Consider joining our organization as a museum member.
