The Kittitas County Historical Museum (KCHM) is excited to announce the return of the Fall Ellensburg Historic Pub Crawl!
Join us on Thursday, October 22, from 5–8 PM, as we explore Ellensburg’s colorful, curious, and sometimes mysterious past in a fun and engaging evening downtown. From saloons and scandals to hidden stories and surprising local history, this event offers a memorable look at the people, places, and events that helped shape our community.
Whether you are new to Ellensburg or have called the valley home for years, the Ellensburg Historic Pub Crawl makes a perfect date night, evening out with friends, or team-building experience.
This event sells out FAST — so be sure to get your tickets early!
Tickets are $75 per person, with only 40 spots available. Ticket sales are expected to open this fall, with Museum Members receiving advance notification when tickets become available.
The evening begins at the Museum, where guests will meet local historians and their assigned tour group. Over the course of the evening, groups will visit four Downtown Ellensburg establishments, each featuring a small bite to eat and an alcoholic libation to enjoy while hearing lively narratives, humorous tales, and juicy tidbits from Ellensburg’s lesser-known past.
The evening concludes back at the Museum with a final locally crafted spirit provided by a regional distillery, paired with a specially made dessert created just for the event.
The Pub Crawl begins promptly at 5:00 PM and concludes around 8:00 PM. The event includes walking and periods of standing outdoors, so guests are encouraged to dress comfortably and prepare for October weather conditions.
Please note:
• Must be 21 years or older to attend.
• Food selections are determined in advance by participating establishments, and special dietary accommodations may not be available.
• Groups are limited to 10 people and arranged prior to the event. If you wish to attend with another group, please let us know in advance so we can do our best to place you together. No group changes will be made on the day of the event.
All event terms and conditions, including the cancellation policy, are available at https://KCHM.org/pub-crawl.
Special thanks to our sponsor, the Ellensburg Downtown Association, whose continued support helps make this event possible. Their partnership has helped the Ellensburg Historic Pub Crawl grow into a favorite annual tradition celebrating downtown history, community, and local businesses.
Proceeds from the Ellensburg Historic Pub Crawl benefit the Kittitas County Historical Museum and support our mission to collect, preserve, and share the history, heritage, and culture of Kittitas County.
