On 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟔, set out on a spirited afternoon exploring the places, characters, and lore that shaped Kittitas County. This special collaboration between the 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦, 𝐏𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲’𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫, and 𝐄𝐥𝐤 𝐇𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐲 connects sweeping landscapes, Prohibition-era history, and the craft of whiskey making today.

The journey begins at 𝐏𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲’𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫, where the open hills and views surrounding 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 set the stage for legends and local lore tied to this rugged country. Here you’ll learn about the historic sites, colorful characters, and stories behind one of the region’s most unforgettable place names.

From there, we travel to Ellensburg for a presentation and 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦, uncovering stories from the days of moonshinin’, bootlegging, and Prohibition in our community.

The afternoon concludes at 𝐄𝐥𝐤 𝐇𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐲, where you’ll learn about the craft of whiskey making before enjoying a tasting paired with appetizers. With a few more tales to share and good company all around, it’s the perfect way to close out the adventure.
